Life is an amazing gift that gives us the experience of joy, love, excitement and purpose.

Yet, at times we are presented with challenges that inhibit our true selves and inhibit our access to positive experiences.

I also have the great joy of practicing a therapy technique called Brainspotting.

This groundbreaking technique discovered and developed by David Grand, PhD., is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Persons experiencing Brainspotting can look forward to integrating healing on emotional, somatic, psychological, spiritual and physical levels. Brainspotting has proven success when working with high performance athletes, stage, film and TV actors, high net-worth individuals, addiction, and those experiencing loss and grief.

Initially I was drawn to work with Mary Jane because of her holistic approach to counseling, as I was ready to try something new (after several years of traditional, talk therapy). Since working with Mary Jane, I have been moved by and grateful for the experience and the results). Her style and skill set manage to reach long standing patterns and issues on a causal level without the need to relive, or even recount the old story. After years of on again, off again counseling this was a welcome surprise. I use guided imagery, meditation, and other mindfulness/body-mind centered modalities. I create a nurturing/sacred therapeutic space for clients to tap into their unique strengths in order to make positive life changes.
